Our consultations take place on your yard at a time that suits you. We’ll begin with a chat to build a complete picture of your horse — covering general and veterinary history, current performance, specific needs, and any concerns.

From there, we carry out Body Condition Scoring (BCS) and weighing (currently with BCS and weight tapes until our new weighbridge arrives), along with standing photographs to provide a useful reference point for progress.

Next, we’ll review your horse’s diet in practice, looking at your feed room, forage, turnout, and grazing management. All advice is tailored to your horse’s needs as well as your preferences and budget. If you’d prefer to stick with a particular brand or feed, we’ll work within that rather than against it. Our aim is to make nutrition straightforward, not complicated.

Finally, you’ll receive clear recommendations for the next steps, whether that’s small adjustments to your current feeding routine or a completely new, personalised nutrition plan. This will be discussed at your consultation and emailed to you within a week of the visit.

For yards out with a 20 mile radius of Perth, there will be a small mileage charge.
